How Our Process Works

  • Planning & Design

    We start out by collaborating with you to dream up your perfect home. If you already know what you want, that’s great. Some clients come to us with a vague idea of what they want, and we start by helping them define their goals.

  • Rough Structure

    Once your home design is finalized, construction begins with building the dirt pad, pouring the slab, and framing the home. Once the framing is completed, the windows, exterior doors, and roof are installed to make the structure waterproof. Ater the home is fully dried-in, the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are roughed-in. Then on to insulation, drywall, and millworks.

  • Finishes & Final Grade

    We finish the painting, countertops, flooring, fixtures, driveway, irrigation, landscaping, and all the aesthetics of your home both inside and out. This is where your dream home really comes together!

  • Final Walkthrough & Closing

    One month before the project’s scheduled completion, we’ll do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. After the walkthrough, you’ll close on the house, sign the papers, and get the keys to your new home.

New builds start at $160 per square foot. What you’ll pay per square foot beyond that just depends on what you want from your home. Factors like size, materials quality, and the build's complexity will dictate exactly how much your build costs per square foot.

Why Don’t You Go Further than 50 Miles from Tyler?

We’ve found that 50 miles is the maximum distance we can travel while still providing the white-glove service we pride ourselves on. Our general contractor doesn’t just advise you on what you should do - he walks you through it personally. We just can’t provide that level of personalized service beyond 50 miles.

How Long Does it Take to Build a Custom Home?

Generally, your home will take 9-12 months to complete. The planning and design phase takes approximately three months. After that, it typically takes six to nine months for us to have your house fully constructed.
